Six must-add Week 3 waiver wire pickups, including QB Ryan Fitzpatrick

Last week, consisted of Philip Lindsay (over 100 yards rushing) and T.J. Yeldon (led his team in rushing). There‘s a whole new slate of guys who should be added in Week 3 after decent games in Week 2 of the season. Here are the six best waiver wire pickups for Week 3:

1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Ryan Fitzpatrick

After five touchdowns against the Saints , Fitzpatrick threw for more than 400 yards and four touchdowns in Week 2, accumulating 30 fantasy points in the process. At this point, Tampa Bay may just stick with Fitzpatrick as their starter, even when Jameis Winston comes back.

For now, he‘s playing like a top 10 fantasy quarterback and should be added from the waiver wire.

2. Pittsburgh Steelers TE Jesse James

James exploded in a shootout against the Kansas City Chiefs, catching five passes for 138 yards and a touchdown. James has to compete with Vance McDonald for targets, but Roethlisberger throws the ball enough for James to be a in fantasy .

3. Cincinnati Bengals WR Tyler Boyd

Boyd is well known for his catch that knocked the Ravens out of the playoffs last season, but he‘s quickly becoming Andy Dalton‘s second favorite receiver. Boyd caught six passes for 91 yards and a touchdown against the Ravens, and should be a workable fantasy option moving forward.

4. Baltimore Ravens WR John Brown

Most people thought that Michael Crabtree would be the best fantasy receiver on the Ravens‘ roster, but so far, it has been John Brown.

He had two touchdowns and 92 yards in Week 2. Joe Flacco likes to spread the ball around, but Brown earns enough targets to be worth an add from the waiver wire.

5. New York Jets WR Terrelle Pryor

Pryor was expected to do big things in Washington last season, but was a flop instead. Now, he gets another chance in New York with a rookie quarterback. In Week 2, he managed 84 receiving yards on four catches. Pryor‘s role in the offense has steadily increased each week and he has the talent to become the best receiver on the Jets‘ roster.

6. Philadelphia Eagles RB Corey Clement

At some point, the Eagles need to recognize that Clement is probably the most talented player in their backfield. With Sproles out, Clement led the team in rushing yards with 30 — including a touchdown. He also tacked on 55 receiving yards. With so few options available at running back, Clement is worth an add from the waiver wire if you‘re in need of one.
