Wayne Township Board of Education’s high-ranking member along with her husband have been accused of attempting to purchase products with marijuana content from Canada through an online source, says the reports.
Stacey Scher 45 years of age with her husband Marc Scher 46 years old have been accused by the Prosecutor of the Passaic County for possession of fourth-degree marijuana and conspiring to possess cannabis, according to the sources familiar with the matter.
On Friday, Marc Scher was caught by the officials of Law enforcement while collecting a package of tetrahydrocannabinol or THC, which his wife had bought. This matter gained fire in the month of July just when the local police, along with the officials from the FBI, started to investigate the matter.
Stacey’s teaching credentials could be profoundly affected as the state might revoke and disbar her from serving for the education’s board due to drug charges convicted on her. A court appearance was scheduled for 4th of November, and then the couple was released from custody.
Currently, Stacey is serving as the Wayne Township Board of Education’s vice president with her term expiring in the year 2021, according to the information on the website of Wayne Township Public’s School.
