The employees of famous fast food restaurant Burger King apparently played an inhumane joke and it’s resulted in them being fired from their jobs.
In an image of one Burger King packaging put up by police officer Timo Rosenthal on Facebook, which he says he received from one of the food chain’s outlet in Clovis, one can see a cartoon pig drawn on it crudely followed by a text that says “When you order food in uniform.”
Besides, it wasn’t just the wrapper which was defaced, the officer further claimed that the food he ordered also seemed burnt and of poor quality.
This is an unacceptable behaviour and does not fall in line with the brand values, said a Burger King spokesperson to Fox News in a statement.
When the owner of the restaurant came to know about the incident, he reached out to officer Rosenthal immediately and apologized as well as fired the employees involved in the cruel act.
The statement of the spokesperson further said that the restaurant now is providing free meals to the uniformed officials as well as will offer a proper catered meal to the local law enforcement in an effort to make amends with them.
